Silueto is a free app for logging your body measurements. By using it, you accept the terms below. They’re short because the app does few things and keeps nothing on our side.
Who publishes it
Silueto is developed and published by Songurov Fiodor, an independent developer in the Republic of Moldova, not by a company. Contact: songurov@gmail.com.
What you get
The right to use the app for free, for personal use. The app has no ads, no subscription and no account.
For the App Store version, the licence is Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement: www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula These terms add to it; they don’t replace it.
Your data stays with you
Your measurements live only on your phone, encrypted. We don’t have them, so we can neither see them nor recover them.
That makes the copies your responsibility: the encrypted export is the only way to keep them if you delete the app, reset your phone or lose it. What happens to your data is described in full in the Privacy policy.
Other people’s profiles
One phone can hold several profiles. Create a profile for someone else only with their consent: a person’s measurements are their data.
No warranty
The app is provided as is. We do our best to make it work correctly and never lose what you enter, but we can’t guarantee it’s free of bugs or that it will run on every phone and every system version.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for losses arising from using the app or being unable to use it, including the loss of data on your phone. Nothing in these terms takes away rights the law gives you as a user that can’t be waived by contract.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version appears on this page with the date at the top.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Moldova, without taking away the protection given to you by the law of the country you live in.

Information, not medical advice
What Silueto is
A measurement log. The app shows you what you recorded: values, differences, charts, and reports. It is not a medical device and does not make diagnoses.
Calculations
Body mass index, waist-to-hip ratio, and the other calculated values are general formulas. They don’t take into account age, health, pregnancy, muscle mass, or other individual traits, and they can be misleading for you. You can hide BMI in Profile.
When to seek help
For any decision about your health, eating, or weight, talk to a doctor. If you have, or think you have, an eating disorder, ask a specialist for support.
